Roast leg of lamb
Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 2 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- rosemary - 1/4 tsp
- leg of lamb - 7 8
- several pieces garlic - 1 item
How to make roast leg of lamb:
Make several slits in lamb. Place a piece of garlic in each slit. Rub lamb with thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper. Place lamb on rack in roasting pan in 325° oven. Roast for 1 1/2 hours for medium rare and 2 1/2 hours for medium.For gravy, drain most of the grease. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of cornstarch into drippings. Gradually stir in 2 cups of chicken broth until smooth. Serve over lamb.
