Roast leg of lamb
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/4 c
- garlic powder - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- cloves garlic - 10 item
- juice of 2 lemons
- leg of lamb - 5 6
- small, peeled potatoes - 20 item
How to make roast leg of lamb:
Preheat oven to 350°. Wash the meat well and set aside. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper and peeled cloves of garlic. Make 10 incisions in the leg of lamb with a sharp knife and place the garlic cloves in each incision. Place leg of lamb into a roasting pan; pour lemon juice and melted butter over meat and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Place roast in the oven and bake for about 4 hours. Check roast after 1 hour and add 1 cup of water. When meat is half done, add potatoes around the lamb.Recipe categories: Meat, Lamb/sheep, Roast.
