Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- dry onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- carrots* - 1 item
- rump or chuck roast - 3 5
- potatoes* - 1 item
- onion* - 1 item
How to make roast beef:
*Enough of these for your family.You will need a cooking bag.
Put roast into bag. Rub salt and pepper over meat, then put onion soup on top. Add water. Close bag. Cook in 325° oven for 1 hour. Add vegetables; close bag and cook 3 to 5 hours. You can add a package of brown gravy mix to liquid for the gravy.
This can also be cooked in a crock-pot.
