Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- tomato paste - 2 Tbsp
- thyme - 1 tsp
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- beef bouillon - 2 c
- large onions - 4 item
- pinch of nutmeg - 1 item
- bottom round or rump - 3 lb
- pieces parsley and celery leaves tied together - 4 item
How to make roast beef:
Dust beef and brown in oil. Take meat out and put in onions and garlic and brown lightly. Replace meat and add all ingredients. Cover and bake at 350° for 2 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Roast beef.
