Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- bay leaf - 1 item
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- dried oregano leaves - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cloves garlic, chopped - 2 item
- pinch of red pepper - 1 item
- rigatoni - 1 lb
- dried sweet basil leaves - 1 tsp
- Italian sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces - 1 lb
- can tomatoes with juice - 1 oz
- green peppers, cut in large strips - 2 item
- onions, cut in large sections - 2 item
How to make rigatoni with italian sausage:
Brown sausage. Remove and brown garlic, onions and green peppers. Stir occasionally. Add to rest of ingredients and simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Cook rigatoni as instructed on package.
