Rice pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- raisins - 3/4 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
- raw rice, then cooked according to directions - 2 c
How to make rice pudding:
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients, except raisins. In an 11 x 13-inch pan, sprinkle bottom evenly with the 3/4 cup raisins. Pour the ingredients over raisins. Place pan inside larger pan filled with 1 inch water. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour. Pudding will "set" after removal from oven.
