Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- chopped onions - 2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- hamburger - 1 lb
- tomato juice
- egg slightly beaten - 1 item
- uncooked minute rice - 1 c
How to make rice meatballs:
Combine rice with beef, egg, onions, salt, pepper and 1/2 c. tomato juice. Mix lightly, shape into 18 balls, place in skillet, and brown. Add sugar to remaining tomato juice. Pour juice over meatballs in skillet. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer. Cover 15 minutes, basting occasionally.Recipe categories: Meat, Ground beef, Beef.
