How to make ribbon jello:
Odd numbered layers: Dissolve gelatin in 3/4 cup of boiling water; add 3/4 cup of cold water.Even numbered layers: Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup of boiling water, 1/2 cup evaporated milk and 1/2 cup of cold water.
Pour alternating layers into a 9 x 13-inch glass dish. Allow each layer to set 20 to 30 minutes in the refrigerator before adding next layer. Cut in 1 1/2 x 2-inch slices to serve.
Looks very pretty for a special occasion.
