Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 2/3 c
  • white sugar - 1/2 c
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • box strawberry jello - 1/2 oz
  • rhubarb, cut in 1/4-inch pieces - 4 c

How to make rhubarb upside-down cake:

Melt butter in 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar, jello and white sugar. Arrange rhubarb on top. Mix cake mix according to directions and pour over rhubarb. Bake for 45 minutes in a 350° oven. Immediately turn upside-down on foil. Serve with whipped cream.
