Rhubarb pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- rhubarb - 3 c
- pinch of cinnamon - 1 item
How to make rhubarb pudding:
Topping:1/2 c. sugar3 Tbsp. butter1 c. flour1 tsp. baking powder pinch of salt1/2 c. milk Put rhubarb in a buttered 9 x 9-inch pan. Put sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon mixture over rhubarb. Put topping mixture over. Pour 1 cup of hot water over all. Bake at 400° for 45 minutes. May use cherries, then use 1/4 teaspoon almond extract in place of cinnamon. May use apples. Use only 1/2 cup sugar in the mixture you put over apples and use 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Cobblers and crisps.
