Rhubarb meringue pie



Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- egg whites - 4 item
- dash of vanilla - 1 item
- deep dish pie crust - 1 item
- rhubarb, cut in 1-inch pieces - 4 c
How to make rhubarb meringue pie:
Bake crust 10 minutes at 400°. Microwave rhubarb, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water in covered dish for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring once (High). Make meringue with egg whites, 6 tablespoons of sugar and vanilla.Drain rhubarb and spoon into crust with 6 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of flour. Top with meringue. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes or until top of meringue is browned.
