  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1 c
  • oatmeal - 3/4 c
  • diced rhubarb - 4 c
  • melted shortening - 1/2 c

How to make rhubarb crunch:

Mix first 5 ingredients together until crumbly. Press half into a greased 9 x 9-inch pan. Put remaining ingredients in saucepan; cook until clear and thick. Pour over crumbs. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool. Serve w
