Rhubarb crunch
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- oatmeal - 3/4 c
- diced rhubarb - 4 c
- melted shortening - 1/2 c
How to make rhubarb crunch:
Mix first 5 ingredients together until crumbly. Press half into a greased 9 x 9-inch pan. Put remaining ingredients in saucepan; cook until clear and thick. Pour over crumbs. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool. Serve wRecipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, American.
