Rhubarb crunch
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- oatmeal - 3/4 c
- rhubarb - 4 c
How to make rhubarb crunch:
Mix until crumbly the first 5 ingredients. Press 1/2 of crumbs in greased 7 x 9-inch baking pan. Top with rhubarb. Then combine in saucepan the next 4 ingredients. Cook until thick and clear. Pour over rhubarb. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cut in squares and serve with whipped cream.Apples can also be used.
