Rhubarb crumble
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- rolled oats - 3/4 c
- rhubarb, cut in 1-inch pieces
How to make rhubarb crumble:
Fruit Mixture:4 c. rhubarb, cut in 1-inch pieces1 c. water1 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla2 Tbsp. cornstarch Mix together crumb topping. Press half of the crumb mixture into a 9-inch pan. Cover with rhubarb.Mix the cornstarch, water, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until thick and clear. Pour over rhubarb. Top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cut into squares and serve.
