Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/4 c
- diced rhubarb
- lemon juice optional - 1 tsp
How to make rhubarb crumb pie:
Crumbs:3/4 c. flour1/2 c. brown sugar1/4 c. shortening1/2 tsp. salt Mix flour, sugar, salt and egg and put over rhubarb. Pour in 9-inch unbaked pie shell and top with crumbs. These crumbs may be used on other fruit pies, too.Crumbs: Crumb together all ingredients.
