Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- half and half - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
- egg yolks - 3 item
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- Meringue:3 egg whites
- diced fresh rhubarb - 2 c
How to make rhubarb cream pie:
Meringue:3 egg whites1/4 tsp. cream of tartar1/2 tsp. vanilla6 Tbsp. sugar Place rhubarb in pastry shell. Set aside. In small bowl, beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored. Blend in cream. Add sugar, flour and salt. Mix. Pour over rhubaRecipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
