Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- oleo - 1 Tbsp
- chopped rhubarb
- Add egg
How to make rhubarb coffee cake:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg. Combine flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Add alternately with sour cream to creamed mixture. Fold in rhubarb. Spread in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.Topping:1/4 c. sugar1/4 c. brown sugar1/2 c. chopped walnuts1 Tbsp. oleo1 tsp. cinnamon Combine topping ingredients. Sprinkle over batter.
