Rhubarb cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- diced rhubarb - 3 c
- fruit juice - 1 c
How to make rhubarb cobbler:
Cream the butter and 1/2 cup of sugar until light and fluffy. Stir flour, baking powder and salt together; stir into butter mixture alternately with milk. Beat until smooth. Pour into loaf pan. Spoon rhubarb over batter. Sprinkle 3/4 cup of sugar over rhubarb. Pour fruit juice over top. Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes. Serve warm with cream, whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
