Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- packed brown sugar
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/3 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- diced rhubarb
How to make rhubarb cake:
Cream shortening. Add packed brown sugar and beat well. Blend in egg, vanilla, sour cream, flour and soda. Mix well. Stir in rhubarb. Pour into 13 x 9-inch pan, greased. Combine 1/3 cup brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top. Bake at 350° forRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
