Ingredients/Components

  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • dark brown sugar
  • shortening or margarine - 1/2 c
  • raw rhubarb, cut very fine

How to make rhubarb cake:

Mix all ingredients together and put in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
