Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- rhubarb - 3 c
How to make rhubarb cake:
Place rhubarb in 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Cover with sugar and butter. Cream egg, sugar and shortening. Add flour, baking powder and milk. Pour over fruit. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
