Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening
- nuts - 1/2 c
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- rhubarb, cut - 2 c
- Add flour and spices; mix well
How to make rhubarb cake:
Cream sugar, shortening, eggs and milk. Add flour and spices; mix well. Stir in rhubarb. Pour into greased pan; add topping.Topping:1/3 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. nuts Sprinkle over top of batter. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
