  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • cloves - 1/4 tsp
  • allspice - 1/2 tsp
  • rhubarb, cut - 2 c
  • Add flour and spices; mix well

How to make rhubarb cake:

Cream sugar, shortening, eggs and milk. Add flour and spices; mix well. Stir in rhubarb. Pour into greased pan; add topping.Topping:1/3 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. nuts Sprinkle over top of batter. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
