Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- oleo - 2 Tbsp
- sour milk - 1 c
- Add egg
- fresh rhubarb, diced
How to make rhubarb cake:
Cream the sugars and shortening until fluffy. Add egg. Stir in flour and soda. Add milk and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Fold in rhubarb. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.Topping:1/2 c. white sugar2 Tbsp. oleo1 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. chopped nuts Put melted oleo on top of the cake. Mix sugar and cinnamon together. Put on top of oleo.
