  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • rhubarb, cut fine - 3 c

How to make rhubarb cake:

Mix together. Put in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle top with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.
