Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • nuts - 1 item
  • brown sugar, packed
  • oleo 1 stick - 1/2 c
  • rhubarb

How to make rhubarb cake:

Optional Topping:1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon nuts Mix flour, baking soda, oleo, brown sugar, egg, milk, salt and vanilla together. Cut rhubarb in small pieces. Add rhubarb to batter. Pour all into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in a 350° oven for 40 minutes.

Optional: Mix the sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Sprinkle over batter prior to baking. Bake 40 minutes in a 350° oven.
