Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar, packed
- liquid shortening oil - 2/3 c
- egg - 1 item
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- flour
- diced rhubarb
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- raisins optional - 1/2 c
- sugar
- melted oleo or butter - 2 Tbsp
How to make rhubarb bread:
Topping:1 c. sugar2 Tbsp. melted oleo or butter Mix together and put in 6 small mini pans.Before baking, prepare topping and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 325° for about 40 minutes. Do not overbake.
