Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- oatmeal
- walnuts - 1/2 c
- cut up rhubarb - 3 c
How to make rhubarb bars:
Dissolve cornstarch in water. Mix the the first 5 ingredients and cook until thick. Mix the remaining 5 ingredients until crumbly. Put 3/4 mixture in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Add filling. Then sprinkle rest of crust mixture on top. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
