Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- salt
- flour - 5 c
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 6 Tbsp
- warm water
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make refrigerator rolls:
Mix first three ingredients with one cup warm water. Set aside. Beat egg. Add to sugar mixture. Add yeast. Mix. Add flour, one cup at a time, until well mixed. Place in refrigerator 3 to 4 hours or overnight. Roll. Cut. Dip in melted margarine. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 450° until done.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
