Refrigerator rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- shortening - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 7 c
- warm water - 1/2 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make refrigerator rolls:
Combine first 5 ingredients in mixing bowl. Mix for 2 minutes on low speed. Combine flour with remaining ingredients in large mixing bowl. Mix for 3 minutes with heavy-duty mixer at medium speed. Add first mixture and mix well. Cover and let rise for 3 hours or until doubled. Punch down, cover and refrigerate overnight. Knead lightly and with lightly floured hands, shape into 1 1/2-inch balls. Place in 3 round 9-inch pans. Let rise approximately 2 hours in a warm place. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 400°.
