Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- cold water - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make refrigerator rolls:
Pour boiling water over shortening, sugar and salt. Blend and let cool. Add egg. Add yeast to cold water for 5 minutes; add to above. Add flour and mix. Refrigerate 4 hours. About 3 hours before needed, roll dough on floured board and cut. Place on pans or muffin tins. Raise 2 hours.
