Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- salt - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 4 c
- celery seed
- mustard seed
- large onions - 2 item
- turmeric powder
- cucumbers, sliced thin - 1 item
How to make refrigerator pickles:
Slice the onions and enough cucumbers to fill a gallon jar. Mix the remaining ingredients; bring this to a boil. Pour over cucumbers and onions. Put in refrigerator. Ready to eat in 2 weeks.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Summer, Seasonal.
