Ingredients/Components
- sliced cucumbers - 1 gal
- vinegar - 4 c
- sugar - 4 c
- mustard seed
- medium onions, sliced - 3 item
- salt - 1/4 c
- turmeric
- celery seed
How to make refrigerator pickles:
Blend vinegar, salt, sugar, turmeric, mustard seed and celery seed. Boil in a saucepan. Put sliced cucumbers in a gallon jar and onions. Pour mixture into a jar over cucumbers and onions. Cool and then put in refrigerator and keep.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Summer, Seasonal.
