sugar - 1 c
eggs - 2 item
vanilla
salt - 1 tsp
all-purpose flour - 3 c
butter or margarine, softened - 1 c
finely chopped nuts - 1/2 c

How to make refrigerator cookies:

Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt and nuts. Divide dough into 3 equal parts. Shape into a ball about 1 1/2-inches around and 7-inches long. Chill about 4 hours. Slice into 1/2-inch slices. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet, 8 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 7 dozen cookies. You can use this for peanut butter cookies also.
