Ingredients/Components
- box red velvet cake mix - 1 item
- eggs - 2 item
- oil - 1/3 c
- Roll into 1-inch balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet
- stick butter, softened - 1/4 item
- milk - 2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 4 c
How to make red velvet cookies:
Mix ingredients together until smooth. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Use bottom of a glass to flatten slightly. Bake at 375° until the top crackles (8 to 10 minutes). Cool and frost with cream cheese frosting.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened1/4 stick butter, softened2 tsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla4 c. powdered sugar Combine cream cheese, milk and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
