  • box red velvet cake mix - 1 item
  • eggs - 2 item
  • oil - 1/3 c
  • Roll into 1-inch balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet
  • stick butter, softened - 1/4 item
  • milk - 2 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • powdered sugar - 4 c

How to make red velvet cookies:

Mix ingredients together until smooth. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Use bottom of a glass to flatten slightly. Bake at 375° until the top crackles (8 to 10 minutes). Cool and frost with cream cheese frosting.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened1/4 stick butter, softened2 tsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla4 c. powdered sugar Combine cream cheese, milk and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Beat with mixer on low speed until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar beating until smooth.
