  • stick softened margarine - 1 item
  • bottle red food coloring - 1 oz
  • Pour into 2 greased and floured cake pans and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes

How to make red velvet cake:

Mix ingredients in a large bowl. Pour into 2 greased and floured cake pans and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.Frosting:1 box confectioners sugar1 stick softened margarine1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts Cream sugar, margarine, cream cheese and vanilla together well. Add nuts.
