- chopped nuts - 1 c
- oil
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- cake flour
- stick softened margarine - 1 item
- bottle red food coloring - 1 oz
- Pour into 2 greased and floured cake pans and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes
How to make red velvet cake:
Mix ingredients in a large bowl. Pour into 2 greased and floured cake pans and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.Frosting:1 box confectioners sugar1 stick softened margarine1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts Cream sugar, margarine, cream cheese and vanilla together well.
