  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • ground pecans - 1 c
  • fresh coconut - 1 c
  • Bake in cold oven at 325° for 30 minutes

How to make red velvet cake:

Mix oil, sugar and eggs, then sift dry ingredients and add other liquids. Bake in cold oven at 325° for 30 minutes. Makes 2 layers.Frosting:1 stick margarine1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. ground pecans1 c. fresh coconut Blend all ingredients and ice cake when cooled.
