Ingredients/Components
- water - 4 c
- large onion, diced - 1 item
- tamari - 2 Tbsp
- tahini - 2 Tbsp
- chopped mushrooms - 1 c
- walnuts, finely chopped - 1/2 c
- minced scallions or chives - 3 Tbsp
- miso - 4 Tbsp
- red lentils, rinsed well - 2 c
How to make red lentil pate:
Bring water to boil, add lentils and cook 10 minutes. Add onion and mushrooms, lower heat and cook 10 minutes. Add rest of ingredients, blend well and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve on rice cakes, pita bread, tortillas or dip into vegetables. Add mRecipe categories: Appetizers, Beans, Lentil.
