Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 1 c
- cold water - 1 c
- nuts optional - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 3/4 c
- chopped apples - 1 c
- crushed pineapple, drained - 1 c
- red hot candies - 1/2 c
How to make red hot salad:
Cook 1 cup water and candies on stove until candies dissolve. Remove and add jello; stir until dissolved. Add 1 cup cold water. Stir. Refrigerate until starts to set. Add pineapple, celery, apples and nuts, if desired. Refrigerate until set.Recipe categories: Fruit, Apple, Salads.
