  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • water - 3/4 c
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • molasses - 1/2 c
  • red food coloring - 1/2 tsp
  • apples - 10 item

How to make red candy apples:

Combine all ingredients, except food coloring and apples. Cook until mixture spins a thread or until the candy stays on the apple. Add food coloring. Put a stick into apple and dip into mixture. Place on greased cookie sheet.
