- sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- onion - 1 item
- medium head cabbage - 1 item
- apples - 2 item
How to make red cabbage:
Slice cabbage like for cole slaw. Slice apples and onions. Put in kettle; add vinegar, sugar and water. Cover and cook about 1 hour. Season with salt, pepper and butter.Recipe categories: Low protein, Side dish, Vegetables.
