  • vinegar - 4 Tbsp
  • clove garlic - 1 item
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • bacon drippings - 4 Tbsp
  • large onion, chopped fine - 1 item
  • large head red cabbage, chipped - 1 item
  • apple, chopped unpeeled - 1 item

How to make red cabbage:

Combine all ingredients; add a little water if needed. Simmer about 30 minutes. Serve.
