Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 qt
- chopped onions - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- green pepper - 1 item
- pinch of thyme - 1 item
- red beans - 1 lb
- bunch green onions - 1 item
- Tabasco to taste - 1 item
- celery sticks, chopped - 2 item
- country ribs - 1 lb
- hot link sausage - 1 lb
How to make red beans and rice:
Put all ingredients (except sausage) into boiling water about 4 hours or until beans are tender. Cut up sausage 30 minutes before serving and put in mixture. Serve over Minute rice. Serve with garlic bread and salad or cole slaw for a complete meal!Recipe categories: Pork, Beans, Rice.
