Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- water - 1 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- margarine - 1/4 c
- nuts optional - 1 c
- white sugar - 2 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- diced, peeled apples - 4 c
How to make raw apple cake:
Sauce:1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. white sugar1 c. water1/4 c. margarine2 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. vanilla Mix first 3 ingredients, then add rest of ingredients. Grease 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 375° about 40 minutes until knife comes out clean.Sauce: Cook both sugars, flour and water together on stove until clear. Add butter or margarine and cook until melted. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour over cake while hot. May sprinkle with nuts. Makes 12 to 16 servings.
