Raspberry cream pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch
- water - 3/4 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- whipped cream - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1/4 tsp
- raspberry jello - 3 oz
- fresh raspberries - 2 c
- cooked and cooled vanilla pie filling - 2 c
How to make raspberry cream pie:
Mix the 3/4 cup water with the sugar. Heat and while waiting for this to come to a boil, mix the cornstarch, salt, 1/4 cup water and lemon juice. Boil together until mixture is clear and then add the jello. Stir well to dissolve jello, then cool. Add the fresh raspberries.In bottom of a baked 9-inch pie crust, put the pie filling, then 1 cup raspberry filling on that and top with whipped cream. Repeat for second pie. Refrigerate until time to serve. This is for 2 pies.
