- pkg - 2 oz
- salt
- buttermilk - 3 c
- bread flour - 7 c
- honey - 4 Tbsp
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- fat-free mayonnaise - 1 Tbsp
- Molly McButter - 2 tsp
- dry onion flakes - 1 Tbsp
How to make ranch bread:
Preheat oven to 350°. In saucepan, combine honey, buttermilk, salt, Molly McButter, Ranch dressing mix and fat-free mayonnaise. Stir and warm mixture slightly. Do not boil; set aside. In a large bowl, combine 3 1/2 cups of flour with yeast and mix. Gradually add warm buttermilk mixture to flour and mix thoroughly. Gradually add almost all remaining flour (reserve 1/2 cup) and continue to mix. Turn dough out on floured surface and use remaining 1/2 cup flour while kneading dough when it becomes too sticky. Knead dough for 2 to 3 minutes. Place dough in large bowl sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Spray top of the dough lightly, also.Recipe categories: Breads, < 30 mins, 5 ingredients or less.
