Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salad oil
- sesame seed - 1 item
- chopped green onions - 1/2 c
- rice vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- slivered almonds
- cooked chicken, diced - 1 c
- sesame oil - 1 2
- dash of cayenne pepper - 1 item
- can water chestnuts, chopped - 1 item
- head shredded nappa cabbage or use 1/2 bag coleslaw mix from produce department - 1/2 item
- chicken flavored Ramen, broken into small pieces - 1 2
- seasoning from Ramen - 1 pkg
How to make ramen salad:
Dressing:1/4 c. salad oil3 Tbsp. rice vinegar2 tsp. sugar1 pkg. seasoning from Ramen1 to 2 tsp. sesame oil dash of cayenne pepper Combine dressing ingredients and pour over salad; mix well. Allow flavors to blend several hours or overnight.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Salads, Side dish.
