- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- cornstarch
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1 c
- raisins - 3/4 c
- orange juice - 2 Tbsp
How to make raisin sauce:
Combine brown sugar and cornstarch in a small saucepan, stirring well; add remaining ingredients. Cook, uncovered, over low heat 15 minutes, stirring often. Serve with ham. Yields 1 cup.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Savory sauces.
