Raisin pudding cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 2 c
- raisins - 1 c
- burnt sugar flavor - 1 tsp
How to make raisin pudding cake:
Combine brown sugar, butter, vanilla and boiling water. Pour into 8 x 8-inch glass pan. Pour boiling water over raisins. Cover and let set while mixing batter.Combine batter ingredients in order given, mixing with spoon. Drain raisins and add to batter. Pour batter into center of sauce in pan, do not stir. Bake 40 minutes at 375°. Serve warm in small portions. Serves 8.
