Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- water - 3 c
- raisins - 3 c
- lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
How to make raisin pie:
Combine raisins, water and lemon juice in pan; bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes. Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add enough juice from raisins to make a smooth paste. Add to raisins and cook, stirring constantly, until clear and thickened. Add butter and cool. Pour into a 9-inch pastry shell. Adjust top crust.
