Raisin oat cookies
Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine, softened - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- oatmeal - 1 c
- raisins I cook the raisins until soft, then drain - 1 c
- coconut - 1/2 c
How to make raisin oat cookies:
In a large bowl, beat with an electric mixer until fluffy, the first 5 ingredients. Mix next 3 ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Stir in last 3 ingredients.Drop by tablespoonful onto greased baking sheet. Bake in a 350° oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until light brown. May be baked in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan in a 350° oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until light brown. Cool and cut into squares.
